I discuss three issues relevant to solar neutrino flux measurements: cross section uncertainties in pp chain reactions, uncertainties in the GALLEX/SAGE response to 7 Be and 51 Cr neutrinos, and the implications of helioseismology for nonstandard suns with mixed cores.
